Bangkok (BKK) invites people to join the "Turn off the lights for 1 hour to reduce global warming" activity on Saturday, March 22, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., along with 7,000 cities from 190 countries around the world in the 60+ Earth Hour 2025: Turn off the lights for 1 hour to reduce global warming.
In 2025, Bangkok is asking for cooperation from important places in the city to turn off the lights in 5 main places as a symbolic gesture: Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram (Wat Phra Kaew), the Grand Palace, Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan, the Giant Swing, Rama VIII Bridge, and Wat Saket Ratchaworamahawihan.
